Cindi Myers

Cindi MyersCindi Myers became one of the most popular people in eighth grade when she and her best friend wrote a torrid historical romance and passed the manuscript around among friends. Fame was short-lived, alas; the English teacher confiscated the manuscript and suggested they should spend more time brushing up on grammar and spelling.

Cindi took the teacher's advice to heart and has gone on to wrote more than forty published novels. Her historical and contemporary romances and women's fiction have garnered praise from reviewers and readers alike and several have been Waldenbooks Bestsellers. She is a former Rita nominee and was the 2005 Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Writer of the Year.

When she's not writing, Cindi enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, gardening, knitting, quilting and of course, reading. She lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and two spoiled dogs. Cindi produces a weekly market newsletter at http://www.cindimyersmarketnews.wordpress.com. For more about Cindi, visit her web sites at http://www.cindimyers.com and http://www.romanceofthewest.com
