Judy
Keim
Judy Keim has loved stories and books from the time
when, as a young girl, she played “Librarian” with her sister. She grew
up in a household where books were very much a part of her life and
family members told stories of the past. Listening to people tell their
tales, wondering why people are the way they are, and caring about
others worked together to help her dream up stories of her own from a
young age – even if they were sometimes just in her mind.
Her children’s stories have appeared in magazines,
and in addition to her story in A Summer in Mossy Creek, an adult
story of hers was published in Chicken Soup to Inspire a Woman’s Soul
(2004). Presently she’s completed a six-book, middle-grade fantasy
series and a trilogy of women’s fiction novels about three contemporary
women who help each other find their way amid chaos and confusion of
very different lives. Her next book is a story of four women whose
lives coincide when they meet for lunch.
She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book
Writers and Illustrators, Romance Writers of America, Georgia Romance
Writers, and Southwest Florida Romance Writers. She lives in Atlanta
with her husband Peter, much too far away from their children and two
granddaughters, who live in Seattle. Her Books From BelleBooks:
