Susan Googins

In addition to authoring short stories for Belle Books’ Mossy Creek series, Susan Goggins has written romance novels for Harlequin and Zebra. Her romantic fiction has won awards such as West Houston RWA’s Emily award, Virginia Romance Writers’ Fool for Love contest, and the MICA award from Northwest Houston RWA’s Lone Star contest.

Susan writes the Savannah Vampires series for Ballantine books.  The series features two sexy Savannah vampires in an epic struggle with evil European blood-drinkers.  "The Vampire's Seduction" began the series, followed by "The Vampire's Secret," "The Vampire's Kiss," and "The Vampire's Betrayal."

Susan’s day jobs have included technical writer, newspaper reporter, speech writer, and trade magazine editorial assistant. She holds a Master of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. Her hobbies include reading in all genres, cycling, and cat maintenance. She is a native Georgian whose “people” hail from Cobb and Paulding counties.
