Kim
Brock
Kim Brock, a native of
Georgia, spent her childhood spinning tall tales, surrounded by the
mystique of southern Appalachia, steeped in an appreciation of family,
heritage and home. As a young student she received recognition for her
poetry from the Georgia Poetry Society, which began a love of lyrical,
regional storytelling that continued into adulthood. Since then, she
has published a short story in the anthology SUMMER IN MOSSY CREEK,
and received the Jasmine Award in 2004. She writes and lives in the
north Georgia foothills just north of Atlanta with her husband, two
children, and Dexter, her Cairn terrier, foot warmer and muse.
